Prices

Because we are a non-profit organisation, our prices are real cost prices. We use the income to pay the staff we hire, such as guides, drivers, manager, cook, house manager and gardener, a decent living wage.

Of course, we also make provisions for the maintenance, repair and depreciation of the equipment we use. Any money left over is used for scholarships.

Despite the above, or perhaps because of it, we are able to offer our activities at very competitive prices, probably the cheapest in Africa.

We offer tourists from continents other than Africa an opportunity to make a modest contribution to the global migration problem of people moving away from poor areas to develop their talents elsewhere, by providing our staff with an income to keep their heads above water.

• All tours include bike and helmet. Cycling shorts and jerseys/jackets are not included and are available at an additional cost of €2 each.

• The unguided option tours are provided with a navigator (Garmin or Wahoo).

• The tour to the Hot Springs is a one way trip, you will be brought back to Arusha by car (max 4 people) for € 100 per car for 4 people.

• The Bike Safari from Kibo’s Ecoplace includes: transport by car to the savannah and back to Arusha, one night’s accommodation at Kibo’s Ecoplace, guided tour in de game area. The basic price is € 54 per person (bike hire, helmet and B&B 1 day) + € 63 for the guide and +€ 170 for transport (up to 4 people).

• Tour de Kilimanjaro Classic prices are based on bringing your own bike and equipment. Included: Guide, broom car, Hot Springs entrance fee, 8 nights accommodation, water bottles. Not included: flight, bike, navigator, bike equipment, drinks at lunch/dinner. Bikes can be hired for € 25 per day.

• Other options are available such as number of people per Tour, unaccompanied tours (carry your own luggage). Quotation on request.
